Inside Our Foundry: Making Valves For 85% Export Markets

Most of our valves leave the country, but the work starts right here in Cangzhou. The plant covers 58,000 square meters, and four precision casting lines run almost without pause. We employ more than 500 people, with over 100 CNC lathes and machining centers handling the trim work.

A normal day starts with the melt shop. Stainless scrap and alloy go into the furnace, and the molten metal is poured into ceramic shells that were built around wax patterns the day before. Once the bodies cool, they move to the machine shop, where threads are cut to ASME B1.20.1, BS21, DIN2999/259, ISO228-1, JIS B0203 or ISO7-1 depending on the order. Every finished valve is pressure tested to API598 and checked to EN12266 before it is packed.

About 85% of our yearly output, over one million valves, ships to Europe, the US and Japan. That ratio did not come from luck. Those markets ask for the same documents again and again, so our quality system follows ISO9001 and every batch carries casting approval under AD2000-W0 and PED 97/23/EC.

We also take OEM orders. If your brand name goes on the handle or the body, we keep the marking consistent across the whole container. That is a large part of why buyers come back rather than shop around.
