The stainless 3 way ball valve has one body and three ports. Inside sits a cast ball with an L or T groove. A quarter turn of the handle moves the ball; the flow follows the groove to another port. Four PTFE seats hold the ball on every side; the 304/316 stem runs in PTFE packing. The body and caps are CF8/CF8M castings with a reduced bore rated 1000 psi (PN63). We keep the bore reduced because a full port with a side outlet would need a much heavier casting.
