The ss ball valve 1 2 is a two-piece stainless steel ball valve with a reduced bore. The body and cap are cast and bolted together, and a quarter turn of the handle opens or closes the bore. We keep the port reduced so the body stays light; the wall section set by the casting approval holds the 1000 psi rating on every size. We machine the joint faces in one setup, so the two halves close square.
